When the cancerous cells spread to my mother’s brain in February 1998, the doctor indicated a poor prognosis of 6 months. Since there was nothing much to be done medically, I decided to seek spiritual healing.

Friends and relatives recommended different forms of spiritual healing. Among them, I attended a Miracle Healing session at LightHouse Evangelism. Being a Taoist, it was my first experience of stepping into a church without my mother’s knowledge and consent. My mother was a staunch believer in Taoism and her strong faith cannot be swayed. In my desperation, I had no choice but to stand in proxy for her to seek healing from Jesus Christ after witnessing those wonderful testimonies given by people who had received healing after each Miracle Healing session at LightHouse Evangelism.

My mother lived beyond medical expectations or received "bonus time" as commented by her oncologist. Did she receive spiritual healing from her Gods or Jesus Christ or was it a medical fallacy about the poor prognosis? It remains a mystery. However, Miracle Healing does offer a ray of Hope.
