Finally, our local Health Ministry launched its new Clinical Practice Guidelines For Cancer Pain, developed by the Pain
Association of Singapore in October 2003. The ministry has also produced a companion brochure for patients and their families
so that they can better understand the problem and its solutions.
This brochure should be readily available at the various medical institutions in Singapore.
